Catch The First Glimpse Of “Squid Games” Season 2

Netflix shared an update on the much-awaited season 2 of the mega-hit Korean thriller, “Squid Games”.

In the latest update, we see a countdown in the eye of the gigantic motion-sensing doll, Younghee with the much dreaded ‘Red Light, Green Light’ song playing in the background. Indicating the official comeback of season 2.

In the next post, Director, Writer, and Executive Producer Hwang Dong Hyuk mentions the return of the sensational show with updates on who you can expect to see in the upcoming season. The post indicates that the only surviving lead cast members, Lee Jung Jae and Lee Byung Hun will be seen in the next season along with Gong Yoo who will also be making an appearance.

The most exciting update is that viewers will be introduced to Cheol Su who is Young Hee’s (the big doll singing ‘Red Light, Green Light’) boyfriend.

“Squid Games” was one of the first shows on Netflix that became the ‘most-watched show’ in around 90 countries. Its phenomenal success catapulted its lead actors Lee Jung Jae, Park Hae Soo, and Jung Ho Yeon to global fame. “Squid Games” also won several awards in South Korea and the US.
