ALPHAS Of November 2016

Sweet November has come to an end and like every other month of the year, this one too flew by. If November was exciting then it was because of the following reasons:

  • The launch of a bunch of new shows each belonging to a different genre.
  • Hallyu star, Lee Min Ho finally making his drama comeback. And that too with a bang. Yay!!

On the Indian telly front, I noticed a slight change in the kind of serials that are being produced off late. But you know, I can’t fully be sure because every serial starts with a supposed ‘fresh new concept’ and inevitably ends up becoming a saas-bahu saga. However, shows like P.O.W. Bandi Yuddh Ke and Queens Hain Hum are finite series so at least they won’t drown in the saas-bahu sea.

Korean dramas too had new shows launched in November and currently I am totally hooked to an astoundingly riveting medical drama Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim, a sweet and lovable sports drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and the much popular chart-burning dramedy The Legend Of The Blue Sea.

So, let’s have a look at the αLPHAS of November 2016.

αLPHA Indian Serial

P.O.W. Bandi Yudh Ke

I reviewed 5 new shows on television this month. The best part of it is that each show dealt with a completely different topic. If one was a mythological serial about a mysterious and dreaded God then the other one was a story of two prisoners of war returning to their homeland after 17 years. Of the five First Episode First Impression, I personally loved P.O.W. Bandi Yuddh Ke the most. The show is fresh right from its concept to casting. The first episode was extremely impactful and I loved every single thing about it.

αLPHA K-Drama

Jealousy Incarnate Review

In K-Dramaland, four ahhh-mazing shows concluded in November. I loved watching each one of them and don’t be surprised that I gave each drama 4 out of 5 rating. Each of the dramas was unique in concept and approach. I admire K-entertainment a lot and want appreciate their efforts in offering such great shows to their viewers. Though I enjoyed watching all four dramas the one that took the cake was Jealousy Incarnate. This show is one helluva laughter riot despite the fact that it deals with serious topics like breast cancer. What do these Korean writers eat? How are they so freaking creative?

αLPHA Best Scene

Something About 1% Review

Something About 1%’s super hawt kiss that hijacked my Insta feed is the best scene of November. Jae In and DaDa’s chemistry was superb throughout the show and the couple got closer to each other after this scene.

αLPHA Song

Befikre’s Nashe Si Chadh Gayi has been topping most music charts online. Ranveer and Vani’s chemistry promises to set cinema screens ablaze. With the movie release scheduled next week lets see if their chemistry in the song is extended in the movie or no.

In Asian dramas, Jealousy Incarnate’s ‘Step Step’ by Suran and Shopping King Louie’s ‘The Tiger Moth’ by Monsta X seem stuck in my head and I am not complaining. Step Step speaks Pyo Na Ri’s heart out while The Tiger Moth triggers a sense of suspense and excitement with its fast music.

αLPHA Product

Richfeel Bramhi Jaborandi Hair Oil amd Nourisher Review

Of the products I reviewed in November, Richfeel Bramhi Jaborandi Hair Oil is my favourite. The oil has worked effectively for me and I simply love this hair oil. Moreover, during the winters my scalp get dry and flaky which is why regular oiling becomes a must for me and this oil is perfect for my dry hair.

αLPHA Health Tip

This concoction was recommended by a dietician and is effective in relieving constipation.

Methi seeds – 250g

Black jeera – 100g

Ajwain – 50g

Roast methi seeds, black jeera, and ajwain in the above-mentioned quantity and then grind them together to form a fine powder. Have one teaspoon of the powder with one glass of lukewarm water before sleeping. Have this once a week and you will see a difference in a few days.

αLPHA Book

Scarlet Review

With so many new serials and dramas to watch in November, reading a book became almost impossible. However, I did make time to finish three books of which I enjoyed Marissa Meyer’s Scarlet the most. I may have been disappointed with the book’s prequel but Scarlet surprised me with its new characters and twists in the story.

That was it for November. If I missed out anything or if you wish to add something then do comment below.
