Kang Ha Neul Looks Fierce And Furious As He Steps In Prison With A Motive In The First Trailer Of ‘Insider’

JTBC has released the first trailer of the suspense-thriller drama, ‘Insider’ starring Kang Ha Neul and Lee Yoo Yung. The show also stars Heo Sung Tae, the bad guy from the Squid Games, in a short role.

In ‘Insider’, Kang Ha Neul plays the role of a judicial trainee, Kim Yo Han who goes to prison on an undercover mission to expose a high-profile case but instead finds himself trapped in a web of unforeseen dangerous circumstances.

In the trailer, we see Kang Ha Neul enter prison and play a game of cards with the inmates who are unaware of his true identity.

Kang Ha Neul is one of the most underrated actors I have come across. I have loved him in every single show that I have seen of his. I feel he is one of those actors who are only concerned about doing their work with sincerity and do not care about PR or image building. That is why perhaps he is not as hyped as many other actors.

Also, he does not select regular roles and has always maintained a diverse choice of characters. Even his romantic dramas are not your formulaic “rich rude boy falls for a poor girl”. It is always something different than usual. The same applies to his choice of movies.

From the trailer, it looks like ‘Insider’ will run entirely on Kang Ha Neul’s shoulders and I am sure he will measure up to the expectations of his fans.

‘Insider’ is slated for release in June 2022.
