‘My Liberation Notes’ Breaks Its Own Record As Its Ratings Touch A New High

JTBC’s ‘My Liberation Notes’ has been on a steady rise since its broadcast and its latest episode recorded a rating of 3.876%, according to Nielsen Korea.

‘My Liberation Notes’ tracks the life of three siblings who live in a remote village and commute for hours changing multiple modes of transport to get to and back from their workplace in Seoul. The three of them are tired of their boring lives and wish to somehow break free from the hardship they face regularly.

I am a loyal viewer of this show and I love every single thing about it. I like its intermingling storylines, the real characters, the warm music, and even the long moments of ASMR. The unusual premise of the show dealing with the mundane happenings of life is so relatable that I could connect with it in no time. From the first episode itself, I knew I was going to love this show and up until now (i.e. episode 8) I have been absolutely right.

I especially love Mi Jeong and Mr. Gu’s love story which has been developing slowly but very beautifully. It is more special considering how painfully introverted both of them are and how they get along or even clash with hardly any words exchanged. Even on a date, they hardly speak to each other but their eyes and body language convey it all. Such a sweet and innocent couple it makes me want to cry, in a good way. 🙂
