“Sweet Home” To Return With Two Seasons, Confirms Cast Through Their T-Shirts

On June 15, Netflix announced that “Sweet Home” show will be returning with two consecutive seasons.

Looks like it’s raining K-drama seasons on Netflix since the platform has been on a season renewal spree. After “All Of Us Are Dead” and “Squid Game”, “Sweet Home” is the latest show to be renewed, and that too for seasons 2 and 3.

Netflix indicated that the two seasons will be shot consecutively. Director Lee Eung Bok, from season 1, will once again be in command of the two seasons.

In the upcoming seasons, the show is expected to widen its horizons with an extended storyline and cast.

Actors Song Kang and Lee Jin Uk will be reprising their leading characters while Lee Si Young, Ko Min Si, and Park Kyu Young too will return to the show.

Based on a webtoon, “Sweet Home” is the story of a teenager and his neighbors who are stuck in a parallel universe where humans have turned into monsters. Their fight is for the survival and the retainment of humanity.

Here have a look at the happy cast announcing the return of the show on social media.
