tvN Finalizes An Interesting Trio As Lead Cast For Upcoming Drama “MonWedFriTuesThursSat”

tvN announced that it has locked in Park Min Young, Go Kyung Pyo, and Kim Jae Young as the lead cast for its next drama, “MonWedFriTuesThursSat”.

I know the title sounds weird but it catches your attention so bear with it for now. Maybe they might change it later when they realize that people are unable to say it.

“MonWedFriTuesThursSat” is about a service company where single men can avail the services of a pretend partner to accompany them to events.

Actress Park Min Young is to play the character named Choi Sang Eun, who possesses the beauty and charm to be an ideal wife.

Actor Go Kyung Pyo will portray the character Jung Ji Ho who has been signed up for the pretend partner services for a long time. Choi Sang Eun is supposed to play his wife on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Meanwhile, actor Kim Jae Young will be seen playing the role of a Hallyu star and a chaebol, Kang Hae Jin. He is the new client of the pretend partner services and Choi Sang Eun is assigned to be his fake partner on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Hence the unique drama title.

The premise and the cast both look promising. And I have loved all of Park Min Young’s dramas that I have seen in the past. So, I know she will be good. She recently signed up with a new agency, Hook Entertainment after being managed by Namoo actors for four years. This change I thought would make her experiment with roles and choose different genres of dramas than rom-coms. But that hasn’t happened yet. And I’m not complaining either. Just that it would be more exciting to see her in a completely different avatar.

Coming to Go Kyung Pyo, has done rom-coms in the past but I have never been too impressed by him before. I found him interesting in his cameo in “D.P.”. I last saw Kim Jae Young in a short role in ‘My Secret Romance’ (as the guy who likes the female lead and cares for her but is turned down because y’know she likes the hawt tanned male lead better) and he was okay in that.
