SBS Confirms Return Of “Dr. Romantic” With The Main Cast Of Season 2

On September 15th, SBS announced that their successful TV show “Dr. Romantic” will return for its third season with the same lead cast as that in season 2. This means that we will be seeing actors Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Lee Sung Kyung reprise their roles.

The show also has scriptwriters Kang Eun Kyung and Lim Hye Min and director Yoo In Suk on board for the latest season.

Dr. Romantic” is about Dr. Boo Yong Joo, who was outcast by his own friends and colleagues at the main branch of the city hospital. He then started practising in a remote town and is joined by some talented doctors who wish to learn under the expert Dr. Boo.

Both seasons dealt with a variety of interesting medical cases. The first season had Seo Hyun Jin and Yoo Yeon Seok as the lead couple while the second season had Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop as the lead romantic pair.

The upcoming third season will once again have Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop play doctors of Doldam Hospital.

Lead actor, Han Suk Kyu is simply mind-blowing as the genius surgeon dedicated to serving people. But the highlight of the show is of course the lead couple. If you liked Ahn Hyo Seop in “Business Proposal”, you will love him as Seo Woo Jin.

I personally liked him better in this show than in “Business Proposal”. His chemistry with Lee Sung Kyung is natural and dreamy. This tall couple looks too good together and I’m looking forward to seeing them together once again.

If you haven’t watched “Dr. Romantic 2” then you can watch it on YouTube. 🙂

“Dr. Romantic 3” is scheduled for release sometime in 2023.
