Bblunt Full On Volume Shampoo For Fine Hair Review

I have fine or thin hair. And it is such a task to find a shampoo that will not weigh my hair down. In my search for the lightest shampoo, I came across BBlunt’s Full On Volume Shampoo formulated especially for fine Indian hair. I crossed my fingers and bought the shampoo hoping for a miracle. So, what was my experience? I’ll tell you.

Name: BBlunt Full On Volume Shampoo For Fine Hair

Price: Rs.550/-

Quantity: 400 ml

Ingredients:

Sheesh! That’s way too many chemicals in one bottle.

What does it claim?

As per the description on the bottle, the shampoo is supposed to lift fine hair and make it look big and bouncy.

Does it fulfil its claim?

The best thing (and probably the only thing) I like about the shampoo is its packaging. The bright yellow Genie bottle shape makes the shampoo stand out in the market.

It has a dispensing pump, which is another thing I like about the bottle. With a dispenser, you do not accidently spill extra shampoo and thus avoid wastage.

Though it is of creamy consistency it feels light and does not weigh down the hair. It smells weird. In fact, it reeks of chemicals.

I never wash my hair without oiling it, so the first time I used the shampoo, my hair was oiled and the shampoo was unable to clean the oil off my hair. Despite using it twice it couldn’t get rid of the oil. So the next time, I used the shampoo without oiling my hair and though it did not make my scalp squeaky clean, it did feel reasonably light. After drying my hair, I could feel a light bounce in the hair at the roots. It did not make my head look full of hair but yes, it did give a slight lift only at the roots. My hair did not look limp for at least 6 to 7 seven hours after the wash. Later on, it got back to normal i.e. frizzy and dry.

What’s good about it?

Does slightly boost fine hair volume.

Does not weigh down hair.

Good packaging.

Comes with a dispensing pump.

What’s not so good about it?

Fails to get rid of oil.

Doesn’t smell good.

Has tonnes of chemicals.

Way too expensive for an average quality product.

I give BBlunt’s Full On Volume Shampoo for fine hair 2 out of 5 rating. The product only has a brand name and is not worth the price at all. If you still want to try it then purchase a smaller bottle (if there is any) first and see IF it suits you.
