Khadi Natural Jasmine Soap Review: Just A Decent Handmade Soap

Hello there 🙂 How have you been lately? I am sorry for being MIA for the last week. I wasn’t able to put up a lot of posts lately because I was busy with shifting process and this is my first post from my new location. 🙂 So, as I munch on some apples (that surprisingly taste like peaches. Damn you food adulteration!) I bring you a new brand of skincare products. Khadi Natural Healthcare is a manufacturer of herbal soaps and shampoos that are free from harmful chemicals. I came across this soap while shopping at D-mart and of the various options available I picked the Jasmine variant. After finishing the entire bar of soap here is my experience with it.

Khadi Natural Jasmine Soap Review

Name: Khadi Natural Jasmine Soap

Price: â‚ą70/- for 1 bar of soap weighing 125g

Ingredients:

Khadi Natural Jasmine Soap Review

What does it claim?

The Jasmine soap is a gentle skin cleanser. Jasmine is known to hydrate the skin and heal blemishes and scars.

How to use?

Gently rub the soap over wet skin and rinse off with water.

Does it fulfil its claim?

The soap is white in colour and comes wrapped in a thin plastic cover. The bar has a strong scent which is why I bought it in the first place. However, when I started using the soap, I realised that it does not fully smell like a Jasmine flower. It had a very synthetic fragrance that I did not find to be pleasant. The USP of such handmade soaps is their scent but since this soap disappointed in that department, I was hoping it will at least make my skin soft, smooth and clear. But that too did not happen as the soap only made my skin squeaky clean and nothing else. Considering the price of the soap, I was expecting some skin benefits but it offered hardly anything. I do not see myself re-purchasing this soap.

What’s good about it?

Makes the skin squeaky clean

Gentle on the skin

Suitable for all skin types

Made with natural ingredients

Easily available

Paraben-free

What’s not so good about it?

Has a very synthetic smell

Fragrance does not last long

The rectangular shape makes it difficult to grip

I give Khadi Natural Jasmine Soap 2 out of 5 rating. This is a very average soap that offers barely any benefits.
